State team announced for national athletics championship

Bangalore, Sep 6: Karnataka Athletics Association (KAA) on Tuesday announced the men's and women's teams for the four-day open National Athletics championship at Kolkota, beginning September 10.

Athletes who made into the men's team are GN Bopanna, Jagadish, Sonith Menden, M Arshad, Vidyasagar, Sanjay V Harshith, Supreethraj, K Rakesh, G Pradeep, Surendar Kumar, Chandrashekar, Ranjan kariyappa and PJ Purandar, KAA said in a statement.

The women's team comprises Manjushree, Rebecca Jose, Bebi Sumaya, Shalini Naik, GM Aishwarya, Thippava Sannakki, KC Shruthi, KC Mamatha, Shahajahani, Khyathi Vakari, Neelamma, MR Poovamma, Joyline M Lobo, Anju Benny, PM Manju, Reena George and Hemalatha.
