Ministers finds 45 staff absent in Commercial tax office

Mysore, Aug 22: Grave irregularities in the functioning of commercial tax office here was found during a surprise visit conducted by district in-charge Minister S A Ramdas here today.

Ramdas, who arrived at the office at 10.20 am, was surprised to see the sprawling office wearing a deserted look.

On going through the attendance register, the Minister found as many as 45 employees abstained from work and 10 others availed casual leave without sanction.

Ramdas also found the improper display of Charter of Citizens Rights and ill-maintanence of programme diary of the staff.
