Yeddyurappa's bail plea posted for Nov 28

Bangalore, Nov 24: Karnataka High Court today posted
for orders on November 28 a petition moved by former Chief
Minister B S Yeddyurappa seeking anticipatory bail in a
complaint filed against him and his family members relating to
alleged irregularities in denotification of land.
When the matter came up, Justice H Billappa, who was to
pronounce the order today, posted it to Monday next observing
that the main order was yet to be ready and there were certain
corrections to be made therein.
The private complaint filed before the Lokayukta court by
advocate Sirajin Bhasha related to denotification of land by
Yeddyurappa in violation of rules favouring his family.
In this case, besides Yeddyurappa, the other accused are
Davalagiri Property Developers Private Limited and Bhagath
Homes Private Limited (both promoted by Yeddyurappa's family),
R N Sohan Kumar (Yeddyurappa's son-in-law), Adarsh Developers
represented by B M Jayashankar and Karunesh, director of
Akarsha Properties.
On November 16, Justice Billappa granted anticipatory
bail to Yeddyurappa, his two sons B Y Raghavendra, a Lok Sabha
member and B Y Vijayendra and Sohan Kumar in two complaints
relating to alleged irregularities in denotification of
government lands. Bhasha had filed the complaints in the
Lokayukta special court.
