Youth Cong polls from Sept 16, results on Sept 23

Bangalore,Sep 3: The booth-level Youth Congress elections in Karnataka will be held from September 16 to Sept 21, Congress leader V K Arivalzhagan said here today.

Filing of nominations will be on Sept 11 and 12, and scrutiny on Sept 13, Arivalzhagan, also Pradesh Returning Officer, said, adding, results will be announced and published on party website on September 23.

Soon after completion of booth-level elections, the party will form five-member committeees which will vote in Lok Sabha and Assembly level party elections, he said. Strict action would be taken against candidates furnishing fake birth certificates for contesting elections,he said.
